What happens to your information when you use this website.

Who we are

The AI Assistant is run by Andrew Reeves, based in Crosby, Liverpool. Contact: theaiassistant@outlook.com. Add trading name/address and ICO registration number if applicable.

Written assessment

Your answers are processed in your browser to show your results. They are not sent anywhere unless you choose to send a consultation request.

Voice assessment

  • It's a conversation with an AI, not with a person. The microphone only starts when you press “Start conversation” and stops when you finish, cancel or leave the page.
  • Your speech is streamed to OpenAI, which provides the voice service, to run the conversation. This website does not record or store your audio or a transcript.
  • OpenAI's handling and retention of API data: confirm the account's current data-retention and data-sharing settings, then describe them here.
  • At the end, draft notes appear on your screen. They are held only in your browser until you choose to send them.
  • Conversations have a time limit and usage is rate-limited to prevent misuse.

Consultation requests

If you send a consultation request, your name, business, email, preferred times and the notes or results you approved are emailed to Andrew using our email provider, Resend. Your email address is used so Andrew can reply.Confirm Resend's data location and retention, and how long enquiries are kept in the Outlook inbox.

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry. Sending a request does not sign you up to marketing. We will only send marketing if you separately agree to it.

Free promo videos

If you request a promo video, our AI visits the public pages of the website you name and makes a short video from them, using Anthropic's Claude. Your name, business and email are kept encrypted and are not given to the AI. Andrew reviews the video before it is emailed to you, unless stated otherwise on the page. Videos and their working files are deleted after 30 days. Confirm the video host's location and Anthropic's API data-retention settings.

Bookings

If you use “Choose a 30-minute slot”, you go to a separate booking provider, whose own privacy notice applies. We never put your notes or contact details in the booking link. Name the booking provider.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Email theaiassistant@outlook.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Update if analytics are added.
